Josh_Professional_Pic Joshua Williams Joshua Williams

Joshua R. Williams joined Heimerl & Lammers in an Of Counsel capacity in the fall of 2010. His talent and expertise give Heimerl & Lammers LLC the opportunity to further expand the scope of quality legal services we bring to our community.

Josh is an energetic and earnest advocate for those who have been mistreated in the areas of civil rights, employment law and consumer rights. He has dedicated his career to bringing justice, fairness and dignity to those who have wrongly been harassed, abused or denied proper treatment under the law.

Josh served as a litigation attorney at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A., one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in Minnesota. Josh’s experience at Fredrikson provided him with the resources and expertise required to run a vigorous plaintiff’s rights law firm in Minneapolis.

Josh has been an active force in the community since moving to the Twin Cities. In July, 2009, the Minneapolis City Council and Mayor Ryback appointed him to serve as a Commissioner on the Minneapolis Commission on Civil Rights. Josh also serves on the board of Restorative Justice Community Action, and is a volunteer attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers Network, the Children’s Law Center of Minnesota, and the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota.

Josh met his wife, Micki (who works as a public interest immigration attorney in St. Paul), in law school. They live near Martin Luther King, Jr. Park in the Kingfield neighborhood in South Minneapolis.
